Our workshops increase community awareness and understanding of youth mental health and strengthen the knowledge and confidence of people who work or volunteer with young people.
Below are the different types of workshops we offer for community groups, education settings, or workplaces.
Free Community Safe-Space Discussions followed by a Wellness Activity including: yoga, mindfulness, self-care, painting . . . We host a variety of wellness experts. If you are interested in volunteering to host a Wellness/Self-Care Workshop, please contact us.
UPMYMIND The Cosmic Science Of Immortality Workshops
🎯 Although the workshops can take on a different approach, each will address our goals:
🧠 Participants will gain an understanding of what anxiety and depression are and what they are not.
🔬 Participants will gain an understanding of some of the neuroscience underlying these conditions.
🤔 Participants will develop self-awareness of mental health conditions.
📚 Participants will develop an awareness of resources for individuals with mental health conditions.
❤️ Participants will develop empathy for individuals with mental health conditions.
💪 Participants will become empowered to help end the stigma surrounding mental health conditions including self-stigma.
UPMYMIN Workshops and presentation material will be approved by certified experts in the field of mental health. Our plans are to create a variety of workshops to address the needs of each of these entities.
