UPMYMIND is nationally recognised as a leading social innovator, using its portfolio of social enterprises to build thriving people, places and planet.
The HPDS-UPMYMIND Fellows become part of UPMYMIND's global network of leading social entrepreneurs. We encourage our HPDS-UPMYMIND Fellows to take ownership of the network and partner with its members to co-create our vision: to create an "Everyone a Changemaker" world.
In addition to the global network, all HPDS-UPMYMIND Fellows are part of the HPDS-UPMYMIND Fellows Fellowship Program. We also work actively to ensure our community is connected with all our partners.

The HPDS-UPMYMIND Young Change Leaders had the mission to bring together leading impact-orientated youth to meet, share and grow – within the Nordics and beyond.

The HPDS-UPMYMIND Young Change Leaders (UYC) set up the first HPDS-UPMYMIND youth network as a part of the global HPDS-UPMYMINDcommunity of young Changemakers.
​
Within the network, HPDS-UPMYMIND wants to inspire and engage more young people to get involved in solutions around societal problems.
Accelerating HPDS-UPMYMIND collaboration and networks among young change-leaders to enhance the HPDS-UPMYMIND agenda.
As the first pan-HPDS-UPMYMIND youth network of young change leaders, UYC is a platform for HPDS-UPMYMIND youth to meet and grow Changemaker skills, such as system change thinking, storytelling, lobbying and other.

Selection criteria
The network members were elected based on the following criteria:

A young person between age of 16-25
-
A youth who has developed or been a key advocate to an idea connected to one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and for the good of all
-
A youth who has mobilized a team working towards a solution for societal impact (e.g., volunteers, partners, peers)
-
A person who is open to co-operate and interested in being a member of a Nordic network

Since we know that we can’t achieve the impact we want solely by doing business with social entrepreneurs developing products and services forUPMYMIND, we’ve decided to do more.

Our collaborations target

Business development
Bringing together experienced UPMYMIND co-workers and social entrepreneurs, we can offer operational support and strategic development through mentors and advisors. We also work with co-creation and provide targeted support within product design, business management, social impact analysis, monitoring and evaluation, communication, financial instruments, and networking.

Accelerating for impact
When we support social entrepreneurs who are not developing products or services for UPMYMIND, we partner with civil society organizations and focus on scaling up already successful businesses. They all have great business models that aim to solve social problems, but they have met challenges that stop them from growing. By supporting them in their expansion, we want to contribute to increasing these social entrepreneurs’ ability to achieve an even bigger social change. The businesses can operate in any location and provide any product or service.

Local services

Several UPMYMIND franchisees are involved in local partnerships with social entrepreneurs and social impact organisations, focusing on local services. The nature and focus of these partnerships vary between franchisees and markets. Efforts are underway to map these partnerships, integrate social entrepreneurship more clearly in the UPMYMIND concept, and develop tools to facilitate franchisees to engage with social enterprises in local markets.

Together with dedicated partners and experienced UPMYMIND co-workers, we develop programmes, products and services to scale up social entrepreneurs' businesses and increase their impact.

Social Enterprises can join for free if their turnover is less than $ 100, 000, membership fees then apply based on turnover.

If you’re not a social enterprise yourself but you support the growth and development of the social enterprise sector, then please join as a Supporter Member. Fees start at £100, and then increase based on turnover.
